Introduction: The award is presented for the third time by the Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) in memory of Fr. Parmananda Divarkar who was a distinguished Jesuit, a scholar and a philosopher of repute. Fr. Divarkar’s interests were inter-religious dialogue and spirituality, and his numerous friends from every background testify to his ability to build bridges of peace and harmony between diverse groups.
